You might want to try these.

Should I be ashamed that I made both of these this week? Well I'm not. Because they were delightful. And I'm a pig. So sue me.

Don't judge my crappy pictures. Just know that about 99% of them come from my phone. And the other amazing 1%, from back in the day, were taken by Kathryn. Who no longer lives by me, and can no longer document my life or our baking dates. Sad.

Today I'm going to try out a Levain Bakery copycat recipe. I don't think I can even put into words how good these cookies are. They are about 8lbs a piece, and are borderline raw. So they are cooked to perfection, basically. If you are ever visiting NYC, you probably should eat there for dinner.

I would really like to know how you make all these great treats and still manage to look amazing! What's your secret? I'll for sure have to try both of these recipes. I love lemon (I even have a sugar cookie recipe that is SO good and I add extra lemon to it) and I've had the oreo ones before and always wanted to know how to make them.

Jill. Some people are on weight watchers. Some people are going to have to stop reading your blog if all you're going to do is post delicious looking treats. Not me. But some people. Fine It's me. I'm on weight watchers. I am 'some people'.

I went to Levain on Saturday. I guess we shouldn't talk about that though, should we?

Tell me how the recipe turns out. I like that YOU make things first.

(I still haven't made the cake. Must make that cake.)

I still need to make you a CD of photos... sigh.

those blackberry jar thingers look amazing. If my kitchen wasn't the size of my thumb and our apartment didn't push 100 degrees when the oven is on maybe I'd try to make them.

Jill, you really are going to make people mad at you cause you certainly don't look like you eat like a pig! I love reading your blog....it's so fun! Get Sean's camera out and let him teach you to use it so you can get higher resolution photo!

love,

me

How do you stay so thin? I LOVE sweets but it comes at a price! I always love seeing the pictures of your latest treats!

She stays so thin because her husband ends up eating everything, typically in a single serving and has gained 30 lbs! I'm not complaining though, I got a new bike out of the whole deal.

I love that you share your treat recipes! Once I tried making Oreo Truffles, but I dipped them in melted Almond Bark rather than chocolate. You should try that too! It's good! however, when I did it, I didn't chill the Oreo mixture first and I made a big crumbly mess! They turned out into ugly blobs! I gave up on them, but I should try again because they are delicious.
