st. louis gooey butter cake

Friend Kathryn and I made this delightful cake from Smitten Kitchen yesterday. It's pure butter and sugar, but so so good. You probably should try it. And I probably should stop eating a piece every hour.

My mom makes these! So rich! I can hardly eat more than a few bites (thank goodness!)

That looks just like a recipe my mom used to make. Its one of the few things I can't control myself with. I'll eat 1/2 the pan if no one's looking. Yum!!!
